Easy2Meet® is hosted partly on your Office 365 environment and partly on our own Microsoft Azure environment. Platforms that comply with the highest standards in terms of reliability and availability.
No new accounts, no new passwords
Easy2Meet® is installed on your Office 365. This allows administrators and conference participants to easily log into the Easy2Meet® app with their existing Office 365 accounts. There is no need for a new account or a new password. Is multi-factor authentication set within your organization? Then this is also necessary when logging in to Easy2Meet®.
Managed in-house on your SharePoint environment
Documents are automatically converted to PDF when they are added to a meeting. These documents are stored in your organization's SharePoint environment. Annotations are projected as a separate layer over the PDF's, stored separately from the document in our own environment, are (technically) not part of the document and can only be viewed by the author himself.
In-house management on your SharePoint environment
The rights of users can be easily managed from your SharePoint environment. Do you have contributory / editing rights for your SharePoint environment? Then you can use Easy2Meet® fully. Do you only have reading rights? Then you can only participate in meetings to which you are actually invited. External users can also - without actually logging in to Easy2Meet® - participate in a meeting.
The meeting document, without annotations, is stored at all times within your own SharePoint environment. Easy2Meet creates libraries and uses these libraries in which the documents are stored (without annotations). If you want to save the document including annotations, the user has to export it from the Easy2Meet® app.
Easy2Meet® is a so-called Provider Hosted add-in. This means that the app is hosted by a provider, in this case the Microsoft Azure environment of Easy2Meet®. The Easy2Meet® components are hosted partly on the customer's Office 365 environment and partly on the Microsoft Azure environment of I4-YOU/Easy2Meet®. Both Office 365 and Microsoft Azure are platforms that meet the highest standards in terms of reliability and availability.
In the case of annotations, these are stored at the provider: Easy2Meet®. Meeting documents, agenda, minutes, templates etc (i.e. company-sensitive information) are stored within the customer's environment.
No, the annotations are - as it were - layers on the document that we project onto the document and are therefore (technically) not part of the document. The annotations can therefore only be viewed by the author himself within the Easy2Meet® app.
Yes, because the organizer is in fact a website, you can access it at any time.
